Before Installation

Cautions when Installing the Product

  1. Do not place the product in direct sunlight or near any heating elements.
  2. Allow at least 8 inches of space between the product and the wall to ensure easy filter replacements and maintenance.
    • Ensure there is at most 5 meters of space between the product and the water supply valve.
  3. Do not install in areas with high moisture/humidity or dust.
  4. Only install on a flat, even surface.
  5. Avoid installing in areas that reach extreme temperatures.
    • This product is for indoor use only. If the surrounding temperature falls below freezing point, the filters and/or internal components may freeze or become permanently damaged.

Cautions when Moving the Product

  • Do not tilt the product at an angle over 45°.
  • * Use the following steps in order to avoid spilling water when disassembling the tubing. Turn Off Water Supply → Lock Water Storage Tank Valve → Turn Filter Door Valve to OPEN → Disassemble tubing

Cautions when Connecting the Tube

  • Connect the tube to the cold water pipe.
  • Connecting the hose to the hot water pipe may cause damage to the filter.
  • Refer to the "Installation" section for more information.

Installation

  1. Shut the cold water supply off by turning the valve counterclockwise.
  2. Release any pressure found in the cold water inlet by turning the water faucet on.
  3. Disconnect the pipe that connects the sink feed line and the cold water inlet by removing the riser nut from the cold water inlet.
  4. Attach one end of the T-valve to the disconnected cold water inlet pipe. Ensure the water shut-off valve remains closed.
  5. Attach the other end of the T-valve to the disconnected sink feed line.
  6. Attach the 1/4-inch hose to the product inlet.
    • Locate the "tap water inlet" on the product and insert the 1/4" tubing included in the installation kit. Connect the other end of the 1/4" tubing to the T-Valve.
  7. Set up the RO drain line and saddle valve.
    • The drain pipe is to be installed before the P-trap of the sink waste line. A saddle valve is required to firmly secure the drain line to the sink waste pipe.
  8. Place the saddle valve in the desired location on the drain pipe then mark the area on the sink waste line with a marker.
  9. Drill a 1/4-inch hole through the marked area for the saddle valve to be inserted. Do not drill through all the way to the other side of the pipe.
  10. Install the saddle valve by aligning the drain line hole and the saddle valve then secure the saddle valve clamps in place with the saddle valve nuts.
  11. Install the drain line by connecting one end of the 1/4-inch tubing to the waste water outlet then connect the other end to the saddle valve. Ensure the tubing is securely fastened.
  12. Refer to the above diagram to connect the storage tank to the product.
    • Use the 1/4-inch tubing to connect the tank outlet of the product with the storage tank.
    • Until you have reached Step 16, Keep the Water Storage Tank Valve closed.
  13. Refer to the above diagram to connect the product to the faucet.
    • Use the 1/4-inch tubing to connect the purifier water outlet to the sink faucet.
  14. To avoid leaks, ensure that all valves, tubing, and connections are securely installed.
  15. To allow water to flow through the filters and ensure that there are no leaks, reopen the cold water inlet valve by turning it clockwise.
  16. Flush the filters by turning the faucet on and allowing the water to run for 30 minutes. (After completion, open the Storage Tank Valve again.)

How to Operate

  1. Open the tap water supply valve by turning the valve clockwise.
    • Tap Water Supply Valves and water (inlet) and drain of the product.
  2. If the product is left idle for an extended period of time, allow the water to drain for one minute before use.
  3. Replace and clean the filters regularly.
  4. Rotate the valve on the faucet to operate.
    • Do not clean the faucet with abrasive materials as this may damage the valve's outer coating and cause mineral scale buildup.

How to Replace Filters

Video Tutorial

Watch: How to replace the filters on YouTube (opens in new tab)
  1. Turn the product valve counterclockwise until it's pointed towards OPEN. (If the product is moved and the filter is replaced, shut off the Tap Water Supply.)
  2. Drain all remaining water in the water storage tank.
  3. Detach the side cover.
    • After detaching the side cover, do not forcibly turn the CLOSE lever. It may cause damage to the product.
    • If the side cover is not detached, turn the side cover lever to the OPEN direction.
  4. Remove the used filters by pulling from the bottom then install the new filters in the appropriate order.
    • Residual water may spill from the used filters. This is normal and not indicative of a product leak.
  5. Close the side cover then allow the water to run for 5-10 minutes.
    • *Close the Water Storage Tank Valve when flushing the filters. Open the Water Storage Tank Valve when flushing is completed.
    • Case 1. When replacing the Sediment and sediment 3.0 Filters : Allow water to pass through for about 5 minutes.
    • Case 2. When replacing the Pre carbon block 3.0 and Natural 3.0 Filters : Allow water to pass through for about 7 minutes.
    • Case 3. When replacing the Reverse Osmosis Filter : Connect the Reverse Osmosis Filter to the previous filters, Allow water to pass through for about 10 minutes.
    • Case 4. When replacing all filters : Allow water to pass through for about 10 minutes.
    • ※ It is important to supply the purifier with water to check for any water leaks after filter replacement.
      • Make sure that water is passed through for more than the recommended time to ensure the desired water quality.
      • Once the process of passing water through the filter is complete, supply tap water and use a soft cloth, etc. to check if there is any water leakage.
