Important Safeguards

  1. Read and keep these instructions for future reference.
  2. Do not bend, tie, or pull the Power Cord by force.
  3. Stop using the product immediately if the Power Cord, Power Plug, or Power Outlet is damaged or loose. Contact our Customer Service Center.
  4. When plugging in or unplugging the Power Plug, make sure your hands are dry. Always hold the Power Plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
  5. Do not place the product or any heavy objects on the Power Cord.
  6. Unplug the product before inspection, repair, or replacement of any parts.
  7. Do not modify, connect, or tamper with the Power Cord.
  8. Do not use the product outdoors where it may come into contact with direct sunlight, rain or snow or places with moisture such as a laundry room or a bathroom.
  9. Do not keep or use insecticides, combustible gas, inflammables, or toxic substances near the product.
  10. Place the product at least 19.6inch away from the sides and 23.6inch away on the top in relation to the wall and surrounding objects.
  11. Open the windows for ventilation before using gas appliances, combustibles and other inflammables.
  12. Do not block the product's air inlet or air outlet.
  13. Do not put your finger or any other foreign substances such as a stick into the Air Inlet or the Air Outlet.
  14. Do not sprinkle inflammables such as an insecticide or an air freshener to the Air Inlet.
  15. Do not stand on top of the product or put anything heavy.
  16. Please avoid using it near a heating device.
  17. This product should not be used by people including children who lack physical or mental abilities, experience and knowledge to use the product properly without instruction.
  18. When turning off the product, make sure to press the power button to do so.
  19. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons, do not use replacement parts that have not been recommended by the manufacturer (e.g. parts made at home using a 3D printer).
  20. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

  22. A fan shall not be modified by users, such as by adding supplemental filters to fans not intended to be used for air cleaning purposes

Filter Functions

The 3-stage filtration system.

Featuring a multi-stage filtration process, the air purifier provides high-quality, clean air.

Helps filter out minute particles that are invisible to the naked eye.

Details to read Before Use

Installation

  1. Open the filter covers on the left and right sides of the product.
    • Pull the central lower part of the left and right filter covers to open.
    • ※ For safety, hold the top of the filter cover and pull the lower part.
  2. Open the pre-filter.
    • Press the hook on the top of the pre-filter and pull to open.
    • ※ Please be careful, as forcibly pulling while the hook is engaged may result in product damage.
  3. Take out the filter and remove the plastic covering.
    • After removing the plastic, assemble the product.
  4. Reattach the pre-filter and filter cover to the product.
    • Ensure that no body parts or objects get caught in the product during reassembly. Injury or product failure may occur.
    • Push the pre-filter in and fasten it until you hear a 'click' sound as the pre-filter hook engages.
    • Secure the upper part of the filter cover to the product first, then push the pre-filter to lock it in place.
  5. Plug in the power cord.
    • This product is exclusively for use with 120V or higher, 60Hz. Please be sure to connect it to a dedicated outlet.
  6. Turn on the product by pressing the Power button, then press the Mode button to set it to the desired operation mode.
    • ※ Before operating the product, make sure that the filter is assembled.
  7. Press the Power button to stop.
    • If it is turned off while air cleaning, the fan will operate for about 10 seconds before stopping.
    • All lamps on the display panel and air cleaning status display will turn off.

Names/Functions of the Control/Display Panel

Control Panel and Display Panel Parts and Functions

  • Power - Used to turn the product on and off.
  • Speed – Used to adjust the fan speed in manual mode.
    ※ Each time you press the button, the stage advances in the following order: "Step 1 → Step 2 → Step 3 → Step 4 → Step 5 → Step 6 → Step 7 → Step 8".
    ※ Press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds to activate the lock button. Press and hold the button again for more than 3 seconds to inactivate the lock button.
  • Mode – Used to select the operating mode of the air cleaner.
    ※ Each time you press the button, the mode will change in the order of "Auto → Turbo → Sleep".
    ※ You can set the on/off timer by pressing the button for at least 3 seconds.
  • AQI(Air Quality Indicator) – Used for setting indicators for fine dust concentration, indoor gas (TVOC) level, and cleanliness status display.
    ※ Each time you press the button, the fine dust concentration and indoor gas (TVOC) level are displayed sequentially. (PM10 → PM2.5 → PM1.0 → TVOC → PM10 …)
    ※ PM10: Fine dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 10μm or less) PM2.5: Ultrafine dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 2.5μm or less) PM1.0: Nano dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 1μm or less) TVOC: Total Volatile Organic Compounds
    ※ When the product is operating, press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds to turn on the air quality indicator. To turn off the air quality indicator, press and hold the button again for more than 3 seconds.
    ※ If you press the button for more than 3 seconds in standby mode, the filter usage time and filter replacement notification will be reset.
    ※ In the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode, the color of the air quality indicator light changes according to the TVOC level.
    ※ In the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode, the 888 display is turned off.
  • Mood Lamp – Used when selecting the mood lamp function.
    ※ You can enable or disable the mood lamp function by pressing and holding the mood lamp button for at least 1 second.
    ※ You can adjust the brightness of the mood lamp by pressing the mood lamp button while the mood lamp is on. (Level 1: Minimum brightness / Level 2: Medium brightness / Step 3: Maximum brightness)
    ※ The mood lamp functions even when the product is in standby mode.
    ※ When you press the mood lamp button in standby mode, the button lights up so that you can find where the button is. In standby mode, press the mood lamp button to find where the button is.

Display Panel

[Function Display]

  • TVOC – Lights up when the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode is on.
  • PM 1.0 / 2.5 / 10 – Lights up when displaying fine dust concentration levels.
  • OW(Open Window) – Provides ventilation alerts by comprehensively detecting indoor carbon dioxide (eCO2) and volatile organic compound (VOC) levels.
  • 888SEG/Level – Displays fine dust concentration, operating status, and level depending on the mode.
  • ⏻ – Lights up when the ON/OFF timer function is in operation
  • Filter – Lights up when it is time to replace the filter.
  • ug/m3 – Lights up when displaying the fine dust concentration levels.
  • Sleep – Lights up when the air cleaning is operating in sleep mode.
  • Turbo – Lights up when air cleaning is operating in turbo mode.
  • Auto – Lights up when the automatic air cleaning is in operation.

[Button Display]

  • Power and Mood Lamp buttons – Always displayed with icons printed on them.
    ※ Other button icons use a hidden display method, so they are not visible when the icon is turned off.
    ※ Standby – The product is not in operation, and all icons are off.
    ※ Operating status – The product is in operation, with the "wind speed," "mode," and "air quality" icons turned on.
  • Speed – Lights up when you press the wind speed button.
  • Mode – Lights up when you press the mode button.
  • AQI – Lights up when you press the air quality button.

AQI(Air Quality Indicator)

  • Air Quality Indicator – Color indicates the cleanliness of indoor air.
    ※ Cleanliness is displayed using 8 colors. (Contaminated) Red → Purple → Orange → Yellow → Yellow-green → Green → Blue-green → Blue (Clean)
    ※ The indoor gas (TVOC) display mode is displayed using 4 colors: (High) Red → Yellow → Green → Blue (Low)

Self Diagnostic Mode / Basic Operation

Self Diagnostic Mode

When the unit is not working properly, the display panel will show an alert. If there is an alert that will not disappear, please contact our customer service center.

This indicates a malfunction of the Filter Switch. Remount the Filter. If the issue is not fixed, please contact our Customer Service Center.

Basic Operation

  1. Insert the plug into a wall outlet.
    • The product will enter standby mode with a beeping sound.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button.
    • The speed, mode, and air quality icons, as well as "Auto", light up on the display panel, and the fan operates. The current fine dust concentration (PM10) is displayed on the 888 display panel.
    • ※ The product operates by remembering the last operating mode (excluding the turbo mode).
    • ※ If the filter is not installed, a filter non-installation error is displayed on the 888 display panel.
  3. Press MODE to select the desired operating mode.
    • Each time the button is pressed, the mode changes in the order of AUTO, TURBO and SLEEP.
  4. Press SPEED to select the desired fan speed.
    • Pressing SPEED changes the operating mode to MANUAL. Each time the button is pressed, the speed setting changes in the order to Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6, Level 7 and Level 8.
  5. Press the air quality button to check the fine dust concentration and indoor gas (TVOC) levels.
    • Each time you press the button, the fine dust concentration is displayed on the front display panel, and the indoor gas (TVOC) level is displayed on the air quality indicator light, sequentially. (PM10 → PM2.5 → PM1.0 → TVOC → PM10 …)
    • ※ PM10: Fine dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 10μm or less) PM2.5: Ultrafine dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 2.5μm or less) PM1.0: Nano dust (particulate matters with a diameter of 1μm or less) TVOC: Total Volatile Organic Compounds※ In the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode, the 888 display is turned off.
  6. You can turn AQI(Air Quality Indicator) light on or off by pressing and holding the air quality button for 3 seconds.
    • ※ The air quality indicator light may turn on or off depending on the setting status.
  7. Press the Power button again to stop.
    • All lights on the display panel and front panel turn off, and the product enters the standby mode.

Operating Modes

Auto Air Cleaning — A mode that automatically adjusts the airflow to suit the surrounding environment.

  • Press the power button in standby mode to start. (When starting for the first time, the system operates in automatic mode. If there is a previous operation history, it will operate in the previous operation mode, excluding the turbo mode.)
  • Detects indoor air quality and automatically adjusts the wind speed.
  • Displays the current fine dust concentration and air quality while in operation.
  • You can set it to display the current wind speed level in auto mode by changing the user settings..)
  • The air quality indicator light may turn on or off depending on the setting status.

Air Cleaning During Sleep — Mode for minimal airflow and display.

  • Press the mode button twice in auto air cleaning mode to start.
  • For sound sleep, the product operates in a quiet mode by minimizing the airflow.
  • When selecting a mode, the air quality indicator light turns off.
  • The air quality indicator light may turn on or off depending on the setting status.

Power Saving Mode

A mode that can reduce energy consumption by sensing indoor lighting.

  • When the night detection sensor detects darkness during operation, the air quality indicator light turns off.
    ※ For information on how to set the Energy Eye function, refer to Other Settings Methods.

Manual Air Cleaning

Mode for manually selecting the desired wind speed.

  • Press the wind speed button in operation to start.
  • Press the wind speed button to set the desired wind speed (level 1 to level 8). (When starting for the first time, the system operates at level 1. If there is a previous operation history, it operates at the previously set wind speed.) Displays the wind speed.
  • The air quality indicator light may turn on or off depending on the setting status.

Operating Modes / Operating Status Guide

Turbo Air Cleaning

Mode that quickly removes dust at maximum performance.

  • Press the mode button once in auto air cleaning mode to start.
  • Performs rapid air cleaning.
  • The Turbo mode operating time can be adjusted in the function settings. For details, refer to Other Settings Methods.
  • The air quality indicator light may turn on or off depending on the setting status.

Indoor Gas (TVOC) Display Mode

• Press the air quality button four times during operation to display the current indoor gas (TVOC) level.

※ In the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode, the color of the air quality indicator light changes according to the indoor gas (TVOC) level.
※ Using multiple air purifiers in the same space may cause variations in TVOC readings due to air circulation.
※ Inaccurate measurements may occur due to environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, or wind.
※ In the indoor gas (TVOC) display mode, the 888 display is turned off.
※ If the air quality indicator light is off, the indoor gas (TVOC) level will not be displayed.

Off Timer

• If you press the mode button for more than 3 seconds during operation, you will enter the auto-off timer settings screen.

• Each time you press the mode button, the timer increases by 1 hour and can be set for up to 12 hours.

•After operating for the set time, the product automatically turns off.

On Timer

  • If you press the mode button for more than 3 seconds during standby, you will enter the auto on timer settings screen.
  • Each time you press the mode button, the timer increases by 1 hour and can be set for up to 12 hours.
  • After waiting for the set time, operation starts automatically. (When starting for the first time, the system operates in automatic mode. If there is a previous operation history, it will operate in the previous operation mode, excluding the turbo mode.)

Button Lock Settings

  • This function prevents unintended operation due to cleaning or contact by children.
  • You can lock or unlock the button by pressing the wind speed button for 3 seconds.

Filter Replacement Alarm

  • When it's time to change the filter, the filter LED and AQI light may blink. If the filter LED and AQI light blinks, please change the filter.
  • After replacing or cleaning the filter, press and hold the AQI button for more than 3 seconds in standby mode to reset the filter indicator.
  • If you intend to change the filter before the filter replacement alarm is on, reset the filter usage time by pressing the air quality button for 3 seconds in standby mode. (
    ※If you do not reset the filter usage time after replacing the filter, the filter replacement alarm cycle may not operate properly.)
  • The filter replacement and cleaning cycle may vary depending on the surrounding environment.

OW(Open Window) Alarm Function

  • Detects indoor gas (TVOC) level in real-time and provides OW alarm.
  • When the "OW" LED lights up, ensure that fresh air is introduced by opening the window. The "OW" LED will remain on for a certain period to maintain adequate ventilation, even after clean air has been achieved.

Mood Lamp Functions

  • Performs the lighting function through the mood lamp.
  • You can enable or disable the mood lamp function by pressing the mood lamp button for at least 1 second.
  • You can adjust the brightness of the mood lamp by pressing the mood lamp button while the mood lamp is on. (Level 1: Minimum brightness / Level 2: Medium brightness / Step 3: Maximum brightness)

How to set the buzzer sound

Here's how to set the function to disable or adjust the buzzer sound.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode.
  3. "ON" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the buzzer function. (OFF setting: Mute / ON setting: BEEP output)
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set the filter replacement alarm function

Here's how to set or disable the filter replacement notification function.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and "AQI" button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button once.
  3. "ON" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the speed button to enable ("ON") or disable ("OFF") the setting. If disabled, the filter replacement alarm function will not operate.
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set sensor sensitivity

Here's how to set the sensitivity of the air quality detection sensor. You can set the sensitivity to low, medium, or high.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button twice.
  3. "2" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the sensitivity level.
    • (Level 1: Low sensor sensitivity / Level 2: Medium sensor sensitivity / Level 3: High sensor sensitivity)※ The higher the level, the better it detects fine dust.
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set up the Energy-Eye function

Here's how to set the darkness detection range of the night detection sensor. This function detects ambient light during air cleaning and minimizes energy consumption by reducing the brightness of display panels when low light is detected.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button 3 times.
  3. "2" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the Energy-Eye level.※ The higher the level, the more easily the product enters power-saving mode. (When set to OFF, the Energy-Eye function is not performed.)
  5. Press the ON/OFF button to save the setting.

How to set the maximum airflow in automatic mode

Here's how to set the maximum airflow in automatic mode.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button 4 times.
  3. "ON" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the maximum airflow (ON/OFF) in automatic mode. (When set to OFF, it operates up to level 6 in automatic mode.)
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set the fine dust concentration display in automatic mode

Here's how to set the fine dust concentration display mode in automatic mode.

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button 5 times.
  3. "ON" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the fine dust concentration display (ON/OFF) in automatic mode. (When set to OFF, the current wind speed level is displayed in automatic mode.)
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set the screen backlight power saving function

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button 6 times.
  3. "ON" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to enable ("ON") or disable ("OFF") the screen backlight power saving function. (When set to OFF, the screen backlight will always remain bright.) (When set to ON, the screen backlight will dim if no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds.)
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

How to set turbo operation time

  1. After plugging in the power plug, switch to standby mode (when all display panels are off). If the product is operating, press the power button to stop operation.
  2. Press the mode button and air quality button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to start the function setting mode, and press the mode button 7 times.
  3. "CO" is displayed on the display panel as shown in the figure.
  4. Press the wind speed button to set the turbo operation time (10 minutes/20 minutes/30 minutes/40 minutes/50 minutes/"Co" for continuous operation). (When set for 10 minutes, the setting returns to automatic mode after 10 minutes of turbo mode.)
  5. Press the Power button to save the setting. If no input is received for 1 minute, the function setting will be canceled.

※ The function display screen according to the operating status may differ slightly from the actual display when the product is in operation.

Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

Fine Dust Sensor Cleaning (Every 1-2 months)

  1. Open the fine dust sensor cover on the back of the product.
    • Clean it first with a soft brush.
  2. Carefully clean the lens of the fine dust sensor with a cotton swab.
    • Clean it first with a soft brush.
    • ※ Failure to clean regularly may result in impaired performance of the fine dust sensor.
    • ※ The cleaning cycle may vary depending on the environment. Clean more often in dusty environments.

How to Clean the Main Body (Clean once every 2-4 weeks.)

  1. Wipe the product with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water and squeezed thoroughly.
  2. Use a cotton swab when cleaning the dust off the exterior grooves.
    • ※ Do not use an alkaline detergent when cleaning the control & display panel.
    • ※ Do not use a sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid or organic solvent including thinner and kerosene for cleaning the surface of the product. Do not attach any sticker on the surface. It may cause damage to the surface.

How to Clean the Air Outlet (Clean once every 2-4 weeks.)

  1. Before cleaning, unplug the power plug and wait until the machine has completely stopped before starting cleaning. After removing the filter covers on the left and right sides of the product, loosen the screws at the positions described in the picture (back of the product).
  2. Push the grill on the top of the product as shown in the picture.
  3. Hook your fingers onto the grill and lift it up as shown in the picture.
  4. Clean the grill with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
  5. Clean the outlet with a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner after removing the grill.

Pre-filter Cleaning (Every 2-4 Weeks)

  • Clean the pre-filter every 2 to 4 weeks.
  • The pre-filter can be regenerated by removing dust or washing with water.
  • Failure to clean the pre-filter regularly may result in reduced product performance.
  • The ultrafine dust collection filter and deodorization filter cannot be regenerated through cleaning. Do not wash with water.
  • The filter cleaning cycle may vary depending on the surrounding environment.

  2. Use a soft dry cloth or a soft brush to clean any dust on the surface of the filter cover.
  3. Remove the pre-filter from the product, then clean any dust on the surface of the pre-filter using a vacuum cleaner.
  4. Remove dust from the pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner, or remove the pre-filter and wash it with lukewarm water.
    • When removing dust with a vacuum cleaner, do not use excessive force to avoid damage to the filter.
    • After washing the pre-filter with water, dry it completely in the shade.
    • ※ Water left in the water tray may result in odor.
  1. Attach the pre-filter to the air filter, mount it onto the product, and then reassemble the filter cover.

How To Replace the Filters

  • If the Filter LED lights up, please replace the filter.
  • Always unplug the power cord before replacing a filter.
  • Using the filter beyond its cleaning or replacement cycle may reduce performance or cause odors.
  • Using a non-original or similar product may result in decreased performance or malfunction. (Be sure to use genuine filters.)
  • A torn or wet Air Purifying Filter must be replaced with a new one. Contact our Customer Service Center to purchase filters.
  • Filter cleaning and replacement cycles vary depending on the usage environment.

The volume won't change.• Is the product in the MANUAL mode?• Choose your preferred mode.
• Is the product in the SLEEP or BABY mode?• In Sleep or Baby mode, the air volume is fixed at the minimum level.
The air does not seem to be purified.• Is the indoor air overly polluted?• Ventilate the room and then use the product.
• Is the room too large?• Use the product in an area not exceeding its coverage limit. (Avoid placing the device where it is well ventilated like a near door or window.)
• Is there any obstacle around the product?• Remove any objects surrounding the unit.
• Is the product installed where wind cannot move freely?• Install the product elsewhere.
• Has the time for filter cleaning and replacement passed?• Check the Filter cleaning and replacement cycle and clean or replace the Filters.
There is an odor coming from the air vent.• Did the odor get released in the initial use of the product not long after purchase?• The odor is an activated carbon. The odor will disappear in one to two weeks after the product starts operation. It is a smell of an activated carbon (charcoal) which is harmless to the human body.
• Do you use the product in a place with a lot of smoke or smell?• The performance of the unit may decrease if there is excessive smoke. Please air out the room before using the product.
• Has the time for filter cleaning and replacement passed?• Check the Filter cleaning and replacement cycle and clean or replace the filters.
The color of the air purification status display is always the same.• Is there dust on the Lens of the Dust Sensor?• Clean the lens of the dust sensor.
• Does the dust pollution status continue on low or high?• Set the sensor sensitivity to Level 1 (Low) or Level 3 (High).
The TVOC environment display continues to indicate the "Bad" state.• Is the air severely polluted, or have you not ventilated the room?• Please ventilate the space and remove the power plug before re-supplying power and use it again.
The mood lamp button doesn't work.• Is the mood lamp off?• Press and hold the mood lamp button for at least 1 second to turn on the mood lamp.
When other functional defects occur• Diagnose the problem, unplug the power cord and contact our Customer Service Center.
