Cuckoo Water Purifiers WQA NSF/ANSI/CAN 372
Certification Information
1What Is NSF/ANSI/CAN 372?
NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 is an international standard that evaluates the lead content compliance of pipes, valves, faucets, water treatment systems, and related components that come into contact with drinking water.
This standard confirms that the weighted average lead content of a product, calculated based on wetted surfaces, is 0.25% or less. Solder and flux materials are held to a standard of 0.2% or less. This is an important requirement tied to the Lead-Free provisions of the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act.
2What WQA Certification Means
WQA is an international professional organization that evaluates products and technologies in the water treatment industry. WQA's product certification doesn't end with testing alone — it also includes a process that confirms whether the product and its manufacturing process continue to meet the established certification criteria on an ongoing basis.
Through this certification, Cuckoo has objectively confirmed that its water purifiers meet the lead content standards of NSF/ANSI/CAN 372.
